A health alert has been issued after low levels of the measles virus were detected in a wastewater sample from parts of the City of Oswego and surrounding areas. Samples were collected early last week.
NewsChannel 9 spoke with the Onondaga County Health Commissioner, Dr. Katie Anderson about the detection.
I know it's not your county where that wastewater came from, but let's talk a little more broadly about it. What's the level of concern, because when we hear measles, I think people's antennas really go up?
So let's start by placing this in a broader context. So, currently in the United States, we're having the worst outbreak of measles we've had in decades. There have been over 1500 cases, involving over 40 stat
