ATLANTA — The Georgia Football Classic, a college football game between two HBCU schools, was set to be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium this weekend but is now unexpectedly moving less than week before it was scheduled to be played.
In a statement released by the 100 Black Men of DeKalb County, Inc. on Tuesday, they said they expressed their "profound disappointment regarding the postponement and relocation of this year's HBCU event."
The game was scheduled to be played between Florida A&M University and Mississippi Valley State University on Oct. 4 inside The Benz.
