Hugh Freeze used the word four times in his postgame news conference after shanking another game into the woods at Texas A&M. Freeze said it so many times that even he admitted to sounding like a broken record.

Broken, indeed.

All the preseason promise and Week 1 hopes have been flushed into the first open week reality.

Auburn’s offense is bad.

Statistically, it’s one of the worst offenses in the nation.

Drip some acid in the eyewash before rewatching Saturday’s 16-10 loss at Texas A&M because this is a full-blown downward spiral.

The Tigers managed just 177 offensive yards -- their fewest since the 2021 Iron Bowl, which occurred during the Bryan Harsin era.
