MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Mayor Paul Young's community tour landed in Oakhaven Tuesday night to address the community's concerns about the Memphis Safe Task Force.

The focus was to meet the community where they are, and address concerns about a mass of federal resources from the Trump administration making their way into Memphis.

"I know there is a lot going on in our city right now, a lot going on in the city right now, but the path to success is never straight," said Mayor Paul Young.

The Mayor immediately addressed the national guard coming to Memphis, sharing with the community that his administration is still gathering information about what the Memphis Safe Task Force will look like.
