Lake County Schools recently announced its five-year master plan, laying out coming projects, their anticipated funding and completion dates.

The master plan, which can be found here , lists a host of capacity improvement projects, renovations to existing facilities and new campuses that are slated to come to Lake County in the coming years.

The school district has already completed capacity additions at Villages Elementary of Lady Lake, a replacement campus for Fruitland Park Elementary, a new K-8 school at Minneola Horizon Academy and is currently renovating Beverly Shores Elementary in Leesburg.

Beverly Shores is expected to be completed and ready to open next fall, as students currently are attending the old Fruitland Park Elementary campus.
