WEST LIBERTY, Ky. (WSAZ) – A man from Pike County, Kentucky, died Tuesday after an incident at the Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex (EKCC), Kentucky State Police said.

Troopers said Ryan Rayburn, 27, who was from Ashcamp, was found unresponsive in his cell.

They also said foul play is suspected, and another inmate is a person of interest.

Troopers said they were called to the scene on Tuesday afternoon.

Rayburn was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Morgan County ARH Hospital, according to KSP.
