Iris Delgado started the Huntington Park Run Club two years ago in her largely Latino suburb in the Los Angeles area to provide runners a way to connect to their community.
But with the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown rocking Huntington Park particularly hard since this summer, the group’s motto of keeping each other safe has taken on even greater meaning.
