Vulgar anti-police graffiti has been sprayed a short distance from the scene of a Porepunkah shooting that claimed the lives of two officers and injured a third.

The graffiti - which reads "f--- the police" - was recently discovered on a shed used by North East Water in regional Victoria.

The red spray paint also states "cops everywhere, justice nowhere".

The graffiti, located on Roberts Creek Road near Back Porepunkah Road, about four kilometres from the site of the tragedy, has recently been reported to authorities.

The defaced metal shed structure is listed as housing the town's dosing plant.
