SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

Rockmont Circle in Sacramento's Natomas neighborhood has become a Halloween hotspot, attracting thousands of visitors each year.

For over a decade, John Germany has contributed to turning his neighborhood into a Halloween spectacle, with each house showcasing its own theme.

"Mine is animatronics — so I like the bigger, the better," Germany said.

The popularity of Rockmont Circle has led to concerns about safety, especially after the city of Sacramento announced it couldn't provide police patrols due to budget cuts.

"With the city budget cuts, there wasn't availability for security," Germany said.

In response, he launched a fundraiser to address the issue.

"I didn't know how many people would kick in and support it," he said.
