PHOENIX — A brand new brewery has made its way to downtown Phoenix. Situated inside a two-story building on 5th Street, steps away from Roosevelt, Formation Brewing is the newest addition to Roosevelt Row, and the team behind it from Colorado has been working on the project for more than a year.

The brewery's brand is centered around community. Its space in downtown Phoenix is large and airy, with several communal seating areas on both floors to inspire conversation over a cold beer.

"Formation is things coming together. Formation is unity. Formation is a conversation around a beer with somebody that's your friend, your neighbor, somebody you know, somebody you don't, but they become your friend at the end of a couple beers. That's for sure," said co-founder Charlie Berger.
