Investigators with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at 142 Larin Way on Sept. 24.

Two days later, 45-year-old Eric Franklin Cox was arrested on warrants related to the search.

According to a release from the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office, investigators obtained the search warrant after information was gathered “suggesting stolen property was at the Cox’s residence,” adding that “stolen tools from a burglary that had occurred earlier in the month were located along with other property stolen from another theft.”
