LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Listening sessions for Clark County School District leadership were largely halted six years ago but now teachers and parents are applauding the chance to field their questions.

During the September CCSD Community Engagement meeting, also referred to as a listening session, Trustees Linda Cavazos and Ramona Esparza-Stoffregan welcomed all comers to raise awareness of their concerns during a discussion at Thurman White Academy of the Performing Arts.

“We heard the community say to us, we want to have you back in the community,” Esparza-Stoffregan said. “And so, we are here, and this is not a one and done. We are going to continue the conversation.”
