PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday said he is fortunate to have witnessed 100 years of the RSS.

The PM released a special postage stamp and a coin to commemorate 100 years of the RSS.

RSS' glorious 100-year journey is an extraordinary example of sacrifice, selfless service, nation-building, and discipline, he said.

“Our generation of ‘swayamsevaks’ is fortunate to witness centenary year of the RSS,” the PM said.

Since its founding, the RSS has focused on nation-building, Modi said, adding that the RSS works in different sections of society; but there are never contradictions among them as they work on the principle of ‘nation first’.
