There could be rush hour delays on the roads worse than as is usual in Tunbridge Wells due to a gas leak. Longfield Road is closed in both directions to the issue.

Kent County Council's highways has warned drivers to avoid the area if possible, or expect delays. The road is shut from McDonald's to Lamberts Road.

Traffic is already building in the area, including on Dowding Way, High Brooms Road, and Longfield Road. The incident has been ongoing since at least 6.13am today (Wednesday), but Kent Highways states the road closure was in place since yesterday.
