A crash on a busy A-road is causing long rush-hour delays in the Dartford area this morning (October 10). The incident happened on the west-bound carriageway of the A2 near Eltham. .

All traffic is now being held. Motorists are now facing long delays in the area, according to traffic monitoring site Inrix.

Travel time is 35 minutes. It reads on Inrix: "A2 Westbound partially blocked, long delays due to accident after the A205 South Circular.

"Congestion to the M25, with the usual delays back past Bexley and Dartford. Travel time is 35 minutes.
