The GWS Giants’ post-season celebrations looked a lot different this year.
Last year, six Giants players were suspended and a further seven copped fines for their involvement in an end-of-season party scandal.
Several players turned up to their Wacky Wednesday get-together in wildly distasteful outfits before performing some disturbing skits, which included simulating inappropriate acts on a sex doll, and a re-enactment of the September 11 attack on the World Trade Centre, amongst others.
This year, after their elimination final loss to Hawthorn, they played it much safer.
“It was very low-key this year, we just had a catch-up all together and there was no dress-ups or anything like that,” Toby Greene told 7NEWS.com.au at the Toyota AFL grand final live site.
“It was very quiet.”
