Two more individuals accused of inciting violence and firing at police after Friday prayers in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, were shot in the leg and apprehended by CBganj police. The accused, identified as Idris and Iqbal, have been admitted to a hospital for treatment. Police also recovered weapons from both men. They are alleged to have fired at officers during the September 26 riots in the Islamia Inter College area and stolen a police officer’s government-issued anti-riot gun.
