EL CENTRO — The El Centro Fire Department (ECFD) invites the community to its annual Open House, a free, family-friendly event set for Saturday, Oct. 4, from 9 a.m. to noon at Fire Station No. 3 and the adjacent First Responders Park.

The open house is designed to bring residents and firefighters together for a day of education and engagement. The department will showcase its fire prevention efforts, display its fleet of fire engines and emergency equipment, and offer interactive activities for all ages.

This event is an opportunity for families to meet their local firefighters in a positive, non-emergency setting by building community connections while teaching vital safety lessons.
