A 36-year-old woman was allegedly raped and assaulted by a homeless man inside her apartment early Monday morning, police said. The incident occurred around 5 a.m. at a residential building on East Gun Hill Road near Putnam Place. According to investigators, the suspect- identified as Kenneth Siriboe, 21- attacked the woman inside the building’s hallway.

Police said Kenneth Siriboe allegedly covered the victim’s mouth with one hand while squeezing her throat with the other, before throwing her to the ground and repeatedly punching her. He then raped her while she screamed and pleaded for him to stop, police said. The victim reportedly offered him money in desperation, crying out, “No, no! Please stop! How much can I give you to make you stop?"
