The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has confirmed a huge change set to positively impact millions of Brits.
More UK households may now qualify for a £150 reduction on energy bills, as the DWP confirm the new amendment.
This amendment comes in response to a question raised in parliament by Lord John Taylor, who asked what the government's plans were regarding tackling inflation.
Lord Spencer Livermore replied to the request, describing some of the "targeted measures" the government is looking to put in place to battle the rising cost of living.

He said: "This includes increasing the Universal Credit Standard Allowance, extending the Household Support Fund with £1billion a year f
