ATLANTA — A tricky Midtown commute is only going to get trickier this week.
Starting today, Atlanta's Department of Watershed Management (DWM) will completely shut down Piedmont Avenue at 10th Street to expand and continue the sewer repair project that has already been in place on 10th .
Officials tell 11Alive that the road crew will fully shutdown Piedmont through Saturday, October 4th.

The 11Alive Traffic Team says that drivers should take Monroe Drive, Peachtree Street, and West Peachtree Street as alternates to one-way, northbound Piedmont.
