BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Happy first day of October!

It’s a little muggy outside with temperatures starting out in the mid-to-upper 60s. We are dealing with a partly cloudy-to-mostly cloudy sky this morning, so it explains why temperatures are a little warmer compared to yesterday morning.

An isolated shower can’t be ruled out in northeast Alabama this morning, but I think the majority of us will remain dry.

We are looking at a partly cloudy sky this afternoon with temperatures climbing into the mid-80s. West Alabama could see highs climb into the upper 80s. Winds will likely continue from the east at 5-10 mph.

We will hold on to a 10-20% chance for an isolated shower this afternoon. The greatest chance for an isolated shower will likely occur in west Alabama. Most of us will rema
