Happy October! It might be fall but it doesn't feel like it today. Highs this afternoon will warm to the middle to upper 80s for most of us. A slight chance of a shower or two mainly in NW Alabama.

Thursday and through this weekend will sit mildly in the low 80s. Humidity levels will remain in the comfortable category on the muggy meter. A few isolated showers will be possible on Sunday but most areas will stay dry all weekend.

Scattered rain chances return to the forecast to start next work-week with temperatures staying in the lower 80s for highs.
