COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Highway 85 was shut down Tuesday night for a deadly crash involving a pedestrian and a motorcycle, according to the Fountain Police Department (FPD).

At 7:38 p.m., police said the crash occurred at the intersection of southbound Highway 85 and Main Street.

The Colorado Department of Transportation said Highway 85 was closed in both directions between Mart Plaza and Glenarm Road. Police said the intersection reopened around 1 a.m.

FPD said at least one person is dead. Police said they would release further details on the incident on Wednesday.

Drivers are asked to seek alternate routes.
