UPDATE: A teenager has been arrested for the attempted murder of a man at a home on Colony Circle, the Chattanooga Police Department said.

Chattanooga police said at 6:08pm on Tuesday, officers went to the 100 block of Colony Circle where a 35-year-old man had been shot.

The man had life-threatening injuries, according to police. Hamilton County EMS took him to a hospital, but his current status is unknown at this time.

The 15-year-old male suspect turned himself in to police.

Authorities are charging him with attempted second-degree murder and unlawful possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Chattanooga police say their investigation is ongoing.
