SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Following Governor Landry's request for National Guard troop deployment into Louisiana, leaders in the Shreveport city government have concerns.
A joint statement was released on Wednesday morning by Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux and City Council Chairwoman Tabatha Taylor regarding the governor's request for armed military patrols in Louisiana's three largest cities.
Mayor Arceneaux said the request "raised a number of questions that we are working to answer."
