LINGESLTOWN, Pa. (WHTM) -- After months of anticipation, the new ALDI grocery store in Dauphin County has officially announced its opening date.

abc27 News first reported back in January 2024 when J.C. Barr Properties first confirmed that a brand new ALDI grocery store would open its doors at the Blue Ridge Village off Linglestown Road at 2020 EG Drive.

Initially, ALDI had said its goal was to open at some point this summer, but later pushed that date to early fall 2025.

According to signage on the new ALDI storefront and their website, the new Linglestown grocery store will officially open its doors on Thursday, October 16. ALDI says there will be an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on opening day at 9:00 a.m.
