OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) - Police in Oshkosh are offering prevention tips to the community after receiving 36 vehicle theft reports since March.
According to a release from the Oshkosh Police Department, police received 36 reports of theft from vehicles, with five of those incidents resulting in firearms being taken.
Officers say it is important that residents remember to remove all valuable items, especially firearms, from their vehicles and to make sure that both their vehicles and their homes are securely locked.
