GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - After multiple callers reported hearing gunshots early Wednesday morning, officers in Green Bay investigated and found a tree near a walking trail that was damaged by gunfire.

Officials with the Green Bay Police Department told Local 5 that officers were called to the area of Dousman Street and North Fisk Street just before 7 a.m. on October 1 after getting several callers reporting gunshots.

Officers investigated and found evidence of gunfire and a tree that was damaged with reported evidence of gunfire. The incident happened along the Sgt Benjamin Edinger Trail.

There have been no reported injuries or other damage to anything else in the area.
