FARMINGTON, Wis. ( WISN /WBAY) - Known for its baby Bengal tigers and golf cart rides, Shalom Wildlife Sanctuary on the outskirts of West Bend in the town of Farmington is right now at the center of a lawsuit, WISN 12 News reports .
The sanctuary, which spans four miles and home to hundreds of animals, is in a rural area of Washington County, but it does butt up to a couple of homes.
Some of those neighbors are the ones who filed a lawsuit earlier this year.
“It kind of irritated me. Because they’ve been there for a long time now,” Ryan Ehrlich said in support of the sanctuary. “Then all of a sudden you have these... neighbors come in and they don’t like something and now they want to destroy an entire family’s passion and everything that they built.”
