Police raided a Nuneaton house as part of a planned drugs swoop. Locals in Stockingford reported seeing a large police presence around a property in Westbury Road this morning, Wednesday, October 1.

One told CoventryLive there were two unmarked police cars and more than half-a-dozen officers. They said the officers smashed their way through the door of the house.

Officers were then seen piling inside.

Warwickshire Police said a drugs warrant was executed at a property on Westbury Road. A search was made but no drugs were seized.

There were no arrests made. Police previously urged residents to report any drugs activity in their neighbourhood.
