PRINCETON, Ind. (WEVV) — Princeton Police say a suspect was arrested after a chase that ended in a crash.

Around 2 a.m. Wednesday, PPD tried to stop a speeding driver who ran a stop sign at the intersection of West Mulberry Street and South Hall Street in Princeton.

Police say the driver, later identified as 24-year-old Braelyn Huebner, fled onto SR 64 and went through Francisco.

An officer with the Oakland City Police Department was able to deploy stop sticks near the intersection of I-69.

After swerving to avoid the stop sticks, police say they briefly lost sight of Huebner's vehicle, but found it crashed nearby. They say Huebner had taken off running from the scene of the wreck.
