BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A man was arrested in Delano on Monday for allegedly committing sex crimes against several victims, according to the Delano Police Department.

On Aug. 27, officers responded to a report of a sex crime and identified the suspect as Julian Cervantes, 18, of Delano. Detectives who assumed the investigation identified multiple victims, according to police.

On Sept. 29, officials found Cervantes and took him into custody, police said.

Cervantes was arrested on suspicion of five counts of raping a victim incapable of giving consent and two counts of committing lewd or lascivious acts with a child younger than 14, booking records show.

Cervantes is being held on no bail. No charges have been filed as of Wednesday, according to court records.
