BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Houchin Community Blood Bank is having several promotions in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Pink Chair Club

Through Oct. 31, every donor will be able to donate while sitting in a pink chair in honor of Breast Cancer awareness. Donors will also be able to give their reason as to why they are donating and who they are donating for. Donors can also be featured in a social media post. This will be happening at the HCBB location at 11515 Bolthouse Drive.

Breast Cancer Awareness Shirt Giveaway

With every donation, a Mean Girl inspired shirt will be given that features Houchin's mascot, Phil-Botomy while supplies last through Oct. 4.

Pink Event Community Blood Drive

Houchin will be partnering with the Comprehensive Blood and Cancer Center of Bakersfiel
