The success of the newly launched Uintah High Teen Center is thanks to the ongoing support and generosity of many, including students. A good example of this came from the members of the Uintah High FBLA chapter who stayed after school on Thursday to put together shower kits and birthday kits for the Teen Center. “This was our first time working with the Teen Center but this service project will be ongoing throughout the year,” shares FBLA advisor Nickole Hansen. The Teen Center, new this school year, is designed to support all high school students and includes a food pantry stocked with nutritious snacks and meals, washers and dryers, two bathrooms with private showers, semi-private study rooms for individual work, and comfortable spaces for study groups and student meetings.
