A 65-year-old Pakistani-origin man, known as "Boss Man", has been sentenced to 35 years in prison for leading a grooming gang that raped two schoolgirls in the UK's Rochdale. Operating from his lingerie stall at Rochdale Indoor Market, Mohammed Zahid lured the 13-year-old victims with free underwear, money, and alcohol, expecting regular sexual favours for himself and his associates in return.
Additionally, six other Pakistani-origin men also received lengthy prison sentences.
Mohammed Zahid was one of seven men convicted in June by a jury at Manchester Minshull Street Court of committing various sexual offences against the girls between 2001 and 2006, the UK's Daily Mail reported.
