Police in Kamloops are on scene of Mission Flats Road with multiple officers conducting an investigation along the rail tracks.

According to Cpl. Dana Napier, RCMP were called to the rail tracks on Wednesday morning to assist CPKC police with an investigation into a report of a pedestrian struck by a train.

“Details related to the presence are not available for release at this time, but the public is asked to please avoid the area until officers and first responders have cleared,” Cpl. Napier.
