CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) -- No, this isn't a trick! Champaign, Urbana and Champaign County officially announced this year's trick-or-treating hours on Wednesday morning.

Halloween trick-or-treating will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31. Officials also said the Champaign County Board approved specific rules and guidelines for the holiday.

They decided that trick-or-treating will be held on Oct. 31, regardless of the day of the week. If the holiday falls on a weekday, trick-or-treating hours will be from 6-8 p.m., like it is this year. But, if Halloween falls on a weekend, trick-or-treating will be held from 5-7 p.m.
