Hurricanes quarterback Carson Beck did not spend his bye week fishing or playing video games or finishing a woodworking project.

He was just focused on how he could get better on the field.

“Work. That’s all I do,” Beck said. “Once it’s football season, it’s time to go. It’s time to work, watch film, get in the weight room, try to recover your body, and get back into game shape.”

Beck believes there is plenty for him and the rest of the No. 3 Hurricanes (4-0) to work on as they prepare for their first road game of the year against No. 18 Florida State (3-1, 0-1 ACC).
