WASHINGTON — A new platform launched in the DMV seeks to help fired federal workers find for jobs following the Trump administration's cuts to the federal workforce and threats of additional mass layoffs during the government shutdown .
The Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG) announced on Wednesday a first-of-its-kind regional resource platform called Talent Capital . The website is backed by employers, governments and nonprofits in an effort to keep workers in the region.
