The national Canada Post strike has not altered any tax bill due dates in Cornwall, or local municipalities in SDG.

In a press release posted to the Cornwall’s website on Monday , residents were reminded about their options for tax and human services related documents as the city, and other neighbouring municipalities, cannot receive or send mail during the Canada Post strike. The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) launched their most recent strike on Sept. 25 .

Residents can still sign up for pre-authorized payment (PAP) through most banking institutions or in-person at city hall, and they can make a payment at city hall from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
