TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Tupelo Police are investigating a deadly shooting.

officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Simpson Drive around 4:25 am on Wednesday, October 1.

They found a man shot multiple times.

Despite life-saving efforts, he died at the scene.

A suspect has been taken into custody.

Police said more information will be released when appropriate.

Anyone with information is asked to call Tupelo Police or Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi.
