SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- One person is dead after a fall in the Black Hills early Wednesday morning.

The Johnson Siding Volunteer Fire Department says someone fell over the edge at an area known as Falling Rock. Officials say the victim did not survive the fall.

Pennington County Sheriff's Office, Rapid City Fire Department, and Pennington County Search Rescue also responded.
