SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- Multiple crews in Brown County spent 11 hours fighting a fire southeast of Warner.
The Warner Fire Department says it happened just after 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Warner Dairy. Firefighters arriving on scene found a feed pile started on fire and it spread to sheds, haybales and a pile of tires.
Farm staff and firefighters used payloaders to move bales and burning feed to an open field to burn off. Officials say the cause is believed to be a pile of beet pulp that was starting to spoil, heated internally and started on fire.
Crews were on scene until 12:30 Wednesday morning. No one was hurt.
