PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Eleven days and more than 100 films.

The 34th Philadelphia Film Festival is gearing up to bring the most critically acclaimed movies from around the globe right here to the city.

We have the first look at the films on tap, the stars coming to town and the likely Oscar contenders about to make their all Philadelphia premieres.

"We look for the best films from around the world, and we bring them here to Philly," says J. Andrew Greenblatt, the CEO and Executive Director of the Philadelphia Film Society.

"We're kicking it off in a really fun way. We're opening with 'WAKE UP DEAD MAN: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY,' which is the third in series. Rian Johnson, the writer and director, will be back with us for the third time. It's great. He's come in for both other films, and
