VINELAND — NJ Transit has launched an express shuttle bus service between Vineland and Atlantic City to help workers get to their jobs in casinos and other businesses.

The service, which began Wednesday, is being operated by the South Jersey Transportation Authority with the support of NJ Transit.

“Today marks an important step forward as we launch this new shuttle service between Vineland and Atlantic City,” state Transportation Commissioner and NJ Transit Chair Fran O’Connor said during an event Wednesday. “This route will directly connect prospective workers to the many employment opportunities available in Atlantic City, while also filling a critical transportation need for South Jersey residents.
