DULUTH — Two teams on completely opposite trajectories are set to collide at Malosky Stadium on Saturday when No. 13 Minnesota Duluth hosts Southwest Minnesota State.

The Mustangs enter the contest with only one win — a 12-7 triumph over Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference newcomer Jamestown on Sept. 13. SMSU has been outscored 142-18 over its three other contests in what’s been a trying season.

In spite of the perceived mismatch against the unbeaten Bulldogs, wide receiver DaShaun Ames and the rest of the group are approaching the matchup with the same intensity as they would any other opponent.
