HARTFORD, Conn. — Four Connecticut students have been named 2025 U.S. Presidential Scholars, according to a release from the state on Wednesday.
The honor recognizes each student’s accomplishments in academics, arts and career and technical education fields. It is of the country’s most prestigious awards for graduating high school seniors.
This year’s recipients from Connecticut are:
- Courtney Elizabeth Allen , of Wilton, who attends Wilton High School
- Eli Max Gold , of West Simsbury, who attends Simsbury High School
- Ashley Taylor Malkin , of Greenwich, who attends Greenwich High School
- Chloe Ann Weaver , of Oxford, who attends Nonnewaug High School.
Both Gov. Ned Lamont and Education Commissioner Charlene Russell-Tucker congratulated the four recipients and praised
