DEDHAM, Mass. —

Brian Walshe's trial for the murder of his wife is scheduled to begin later this month, and a flurry of recent activity from the prosecution and defense reveals new information about their strategies for the case.

Ana Walshe, a 39-year-old mother of three, went missing around New Year's Day in 2023. Prosecutors believe Walshe killed and dismembered her before disposing of the body.

Brian Walshe's trial is scheduled to begin on Oct. 20. He faces charges of murder, misleading a police investigation, and improper conveyance of a human body.
