CALHOUN COUNTY, S.C. — The South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs (SCDVA), in partnership with the Columbia VA Regional Office and Calhoun County Veterans’ Affairs Office, will host a Rural Veterans Claims Clinic this week to provide support and benefits assistance to veterans and their families.
The event will take place Thursday, October 2, and Friday, October 3, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the John Ford Community Center, located at 304 Agnes Street in St. Matthews.
Organizers say the clinic will provide help with VA disability compensation and pension claims, health care benefits and enrollment, home loan and education information, life insurance, memorial benefits, and other services.
